Ryan Wang is a senior at Los Altos High School and currently studies with Professor Hans Boepple. He was inducted into the Young Artist Guild in 2023. Ryan is a semifinalist of the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, a prizewinner of the Arthur Fraser International Piano Competition, a national finalist of the MTNA performance competitions in both the senior and junior categories, and a two-time National YoungArts winner. He also won first place in the Los Angeles International Liszt Piano Competition, first prize in the Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition, first prize in the state finals of the CAPMT Honors Competition, first place in the Marilyn Mindell competition, first place in the San Francisco Chopin competition, first place in the Seattle International Piano Competition and Festival, first place in the KAMSA competition, second place in the Henry and Carol Zeiter Piano Competition, first alternate in the MTAC piano solo competition and concerto competition, second place in the United States International Music Competition, and third place in the San Jose International Piano Competition.
